Hello chaps.
I'm wondering if anyone's interested in setting up a section for speed builds somewhere on here? Much as I'd love a group build, I'm aware it could be seen as stepping on the UAMF's toes, & completely aside from that, I'm not sure if many people are as keen on them as I am!
If no-one else fancies it, how about a thread similar to the "ugly sisters" one? Apart from the fun factor I've found it a fantastic cure for AMS...
Any takers? _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

I feel the need..... the need for speed!
Sorry, bit of a Top Gun moment there . In principle I have no problem with the idea if other forum members are interested.
If people are interested, make a post, and if there's enough interest we'll see about fitting one in.

I am very interested in this because I was about to do it anyway. I have an Airfix 1/72 P-40E that is going to get built very fast (and I build fast anyway--so expect time to reverse at some point). _________________ “Build what YOU want, the way YOU want to, and above all, have fun.”

If other than Airfix kit can be used, as in the "ugly sisters"; I think I will be interested too.

Always good fun once in a while, there's no harm in it! _________________ Owen

I think the likely format would be a weekend max 48 hour build, to run midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, the specific subject/theme to be selected, or an open any scale/any kit so long as it's Airfix (as an official GB it would be Airfix only).
