I've been making models since I was 7 using my Dad's old jacknife, some oil paints from his painting box and that old style Testors tube glue. My first kits were 1/48 Monogram clasics; many of them with the working features which steadily populated the ceiling of my bedroom until I left home to join the Airforce. Since then I've done 1/48 WW II propeller, 1/72 WW I , WWII, and Post War jets and back again. Many of my models have gone into my parts bin or just the bin over the years but they were all fun while they when together.

This portfolio is whats on my shelf built over the last 6 years.
Appropriately, first up is the Airfix stuff:

1/48 P-51D (ex Otaki/Arii)
Image

1/48 Spitfire VB (Trop)
Image

1/72 Huricane IIB
Image

1/72 F-6F5 Hellcat
Image

1/72 Buffalo Mk I
Image

1/48 Spitfire Mk IA / IIA
Image

1/48 Seafire III (Major Conversion)
Image

Now for the non-Airfix stuff...
Academy 1/72 P-51C
Image

Hasagawa 1/72 Mustang IVA
Image

Italeri (ex Occidental) 1/48 Spitfire XVIe
Image

Monogram 1/48 P-51D (As a 19 Sqn RAF Mustang IVA)
Image

Heller 1/72 Spitfire XVI

thanks for looking

2nd of the Year!  the venerable Yak-9
This one had some problems with short shot areas of the carb air inlet and around the opening of the cockpit. I stratch built some cockpit interior: can't see much anyway.

Glad I did this one but I am looking forward to doing the Alanger 1/72 Yak-9K.

Thanks for looking.
