Sorry not yet Dave , have to get the other 3 Group Builds (Katy, Hurricane and Islander) out of the way before I even think of starting this one. Haven't had much modelling time of late sadly
I have dug one out of the stash though
Cheers

So you keep your stash underground then _________________ Owen

The box was opened, parts inspected and instructions read. I am undecided whether to go full hull or waterline but whichever I choose the workstation is going to have a have a complete clean up to make room for this one
Cheers

Made a start finally tonight, managed to get a bit of free time to myself at last and cracked on with the Hurricane build and put the hull and deck sections together on the E-Boat. It was a bit of a swine to get together I must say and needs quite a bit of filling and rubbing down.
I shall have to have a good read through the other builds to pick up any pit falls before I go any further.
Cheers

Nice to see you have made some progress, Stu!
There aren't many issues with the build and you have encountered the one major problem - the joining of the hull halves.

Thanks Dave, nice to know that the worst is over
Here are a couple of pictures of progress so far, as you can see the work bench is getting a little overcrowded
Sorry about the quality of picures, I am not sure why they are so grainy
Cheers

Almost 6 months since an update on this one , I have been doing little bits here and there generally when Mrs Stuzzar goes out for the evening allowing me the space to bring out the bigger kits , she is off to see Scissor Sisters tomorrow so I will probably be able to get some more done, anyway here are some pictures of the situation to date.
Cheers

Thanks for the kind comments Fordboy, I am quite enjoying this build when I get the chance to do it.
I had lots of fun with the torpedo tubes, those hinge attachments at the rear, or should I say aft , end were a nightmare.
Not looking forward to starting the painting though, there are some very large areas of grey to cover.
Cheers

Here is a blast from the past, a small update, the wheelhouse and rear gun platform are now in place.
Probably time that I started getting a bit of paint on it

Well done Stu looking good.
My E-Boat has languished in the dockyard but there has been a frenzy of activity lately soooo watch out for some posts shortly.
Watch my Group Build construction topic for updates.
Cheers

Thanks mate
Your build is moving much more swiftly than mine and looking pretty good.
Must get some paint on mine soon.
Cheers

Still trying to pluck up the courage to start on the massive paint job
Had a look at it again the otherday, inspired by your progress, it will need a good dust down before I do get underway with it again.
Cheers
