As we have a thread specifically for snow, I thought we could have one for the weather generally. After all, it is the subject we Brits talk about most of all
:jbo:

Anyway, around these parts the sun is shining brightly and an inch or so of snow lies on untrampled grass

Here on the north coast of the US (Lake Superior) Marquette, MI we have 400cm of snow so far this year.  That equates to around 90cm on the level.  February is the snow month for us so.........now we worry about where to put the stuff.  It is weren't for model building, skiing, and snowshoeing we would all be crazy.  Oh yes, last weekend was the "cardboard classic."  Sliding down the slopes of the local ski resort on anything made of cardboard.  Great fun.

Cheers

Jeff

Walrus, we use alot of 4 wheel drive vehicles around here.  Mine is a Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The streets people keep things openvery well around here but the snow banks get so high that you can't see at intersections.  I'll try to post a picture of what we see around here.

And of course we drive on the wrong side of the road over here

Cheers

mmm Vegemate you either love it or you hate it !  Marmite is better ....

BTW We no longer have HP sauce. There is only that poor immitation which does not get made with Birmingham water. One of my most famous landmarks destroyed along with another few  hundred local jobs.  ... to the revolution ....
