Polish Army in France, 1940, wearing French Infantry Uniform. The new pattern French Army uniform consisted of a green jacket with knickerbockers (pantaloons golfs) and puttees, with black boots. Webbing and pouches were khaki.

The recent release of French Infantry WW2 by Heller suggests to paint uniforms in Light Earth Humbrol 119.

75%-25% mix of respectively Hu26 (or Hu119) and Humbrol 86 could be accurate.

Thanks, my reference calls the colour Khaki but the illustration shows predominantly green
For once maybe I should have followed the description rather than the image

Rather Hu26 on the pictures.

Maybe more green shade for officer uniforms ? At least for this humoristic movie  ?

In France eveything related to Army Green is nicknamed "Kakhi", even if it is deep green.
