Four F-15 Eagles have been doing repeated low passes over my cottage for the past half an hour. The first one nearly scared two guys off my roof whilst they were repointing a chimney!

A few days after new year, a 771 Sqn Sea King, possibly on its way to a MU/museum or even the scrappers, now they're stood down. Today, two Sea King Junglies, and their return flight about an hour later (possibly with a Chinook a bit ahead of them from the sound).

C-130 Hercules flies over my house regularly, from what I gather it is a regular training flight that waypoints over Swansea airport. Its normally pretty low and I never seem to have a camera handy when it passes.

Yesterday, two 771 Sqn Sea Kings, heading east (again, presumably for disposal).

You guys, are lucky! Living under the flight path of Adelaide Airport, I only get 737s,747s,etc, A320s,etc. Sometimes, the odd, RAAF FA18, from Edinburgh Air Base.

That'll be the end of service flypast of the Junglies, I was hoping to spot them on the Lympstone to Dartmouth leg but I guess they followed the coast: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-35855631

And over the top of me in Bath around 2 pm. Wonderful noise, they seem to have been around forever. Must dig a kit kit of the stash!

Saturday a DC-3 flew over which looked like it was running the old New York to Middletown Ohio run which was discontinued over ten years ago. A sight that I had thought I would never see again.

Regularly have various helicopters as few miles from Westlands; Apaches, Lynx, Merlins among the odd fast jet and occasional Tucano. Once had the BBMF, and a few exotic types during Yeovilton Air Days.

Looking through some photos I took a couple of years ago and found this one of a C-130 that buzzed my house in August 2013, not sure of the mark as I can't make out a serial or any markings at all other than the roundel and a handful of stencils (the blur in the bottom corner is a neighbour's tree):

Absolutely nothing! I have been on my farm on the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos for all of 2016. I am obviously not under any low flight path, though high contrails can be seen early in the year when the air is cooler & drier and I occasionally spot high navigation lights at night. I did hear a Mi-8 (or Mi-17) passing by a few kilometres to the north a few weeks ago, which was probably some government minister or military official on a junket.

cheers,

Airbus A300 Beluga, F-GSTD, climbing steadily after takeoff from Toulouse heading for Bremen. Aptly-named triple-finned whale of the skies, sailing serenely past, half expected it to vent air from a forehead vent-hole against the clear blue cover with just a few white clouds. Great day for civvie-spotting, but the FJs are staying below the treeline, so have only heard the sounds of a couple of Alphas and (I think) a Mirage 2000 (otherwise it was a Rafale working extremely hard).
