As requested by airfixteen, who would be up for a 90th anniversary GB?
The build would start on 1st April to mark the anniversary itself. As that's relatively short notice, and as there are plenty of subjects to choose from, I would suggest that the GB last for three months, rather than the normal two.
Subject matter can be any aircraft flown by the RAF since 1st April 1918 and (provided Dave doesn't object) any ground vehicles used in the same period.
This poll will run for 7 days from today (19th March). _________________ Cheers,

I would rather it be a "Special" otherwise people would not realise that non-aircraft models can be made.

I don't have a problem with it being a special, if it's OK with Adrian. I'll leave it up to Adrian to move the poll if he wants.

It's a bit short notice for me folks. I'll have to sit this one out. _________________ Collectable kits built here. Baggies, blisters or boxed. You collect 'em, but I'll build 'em. |

This GB will run from 1st April and is an extra GB in addition to the Africa Campaign GB, which even if voting goes for the 0-3 month option, won't start until the middle of April at the very earliest.

Wooyay.....I shall be a busy bunny!
Count me back in for the aforementioned (Elsewhere I think! ) Spitfire & Hurricane.
Hopefully with these fellows having just the one pair of wings apiece, this build should proceed a little more smoothly than certain other recent adventures!

I know the poll isn't finished yet, but as we have 12 people interested I think we can safely say this one is a goer! Plus with the short notice people might need the time to get bits and pieces.
Luke (airfixteen) will be the GB leader. The GB will run for 2 months from 1st April 2008 until 1st June 2008.
Rules.
Any Airfix kit e.g Aircraft, Vehicles, Figures and Structures (ie Control Tower) and Boat(s) such as the RAF Recue Launch in any scale may be used, provided they are/were in regular service with the RAF between 1st April 1918 to the present day. (No whiff's or future items, or captured equipment).
Usergroups etc will be set up in the next day or two.

Since I've got my 90 years of fighters set open I'll do the Lighning F3. Should coincide with me finishing my Harrier!! _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.
