Ayup all...
Further to the discussions on the 'HMS Spa..Victory thread, i thought next year it may be a good idea to have a 'special' Best of British GB.
A car, plane, train, figure or ting kitted by Airfix, to reflectthe BEST that this country has given to the world to showjust how damn innovative we britons are.
It could be a chance to dig out a kit that you've been wanting to build, but can't find the motivation or reason to build, or just for a dollop of good old ATF fun!
I would obviously not expect such a GB (if voted for) to start until ALL the planned GB's had been completed, to give us all a chance to put thinking caps, etc, on.
Hope you like the idea.... _________________ Airfix Member 022... Jolly Boy.

Ayup Andy...
I quite fancy a Hovercraft...
Christopher Cockerell and all that. I would like a Beam Engine more, though... James Watt... _________________ Airfix Member 022... Jolly Boy.

I doubt it. What did he fly that Airfix makes?
Camel
Albatros (or was it a Pfalz - a captured plane ... took it for a joyride and was caught in a "Hun" formation)
Auster
Wellington
Spitfire
That's all i can think of. |
