Introduction.
I used to make models as a child, mainly 1/72 aircraft and 1/72 AFV's. My bedroom ceiling was festooned with aircraft Then other interests took over - girls, shooting, sailing, girls, beer, and did I mention girls. 20 years later I started again after talking about model AFV's with a friend who was trying to find a model of a tank he drove in the army. I had some time on my hands in the evening. That was the top of the slippery slope, and the rest is history. I made mainly AFV's, then when I got fed up hand painting running gear I moved over to aircraft. I've mainly concentrated on aircraft since then, initially in 1/48, then as the realisation of space limitations took over, in 1/72.
