I know it’s going to hurt.
And I don’t want to apply pressure of any kind. I’m just curious by nature.
How many GB’s have you started and not finished within the deadline?
I have a long gone “AA GB” haunting me, and a “Cold war jet” nearing its deadline in a few days.
I think some of you have a few more going, but dare you face the fact?
Sorry, if I'm stepping on some sore toes.
Jesper. |

One so far, Medium Bombers GB but it will be two on thursday as I haven't finished the Cold War Jets GB either, that's 0% completion rate. _________________ "It's life Jim, but not as we know it!" - Dr McCoy

I've never failed to complete a GB model, although I've missed the finish date on quite a few. Currently I have the Hampden (waiting for decal code letters) and SM.79 (I was waiting on paint) still with work to do for their GB's.

Hi Jesper,
Far too many for my liking! However it is said to be good for the soul to fess up to ones sins
Lifeboat GB
Rescue Launch GB - conversion to Sub Chaser
Avro Anson GB
Dragon Rapide GB - Falck Ambulance
Vosper MTB GB -Conversion to a MGB
African Campaign GB - Conversion of an AEC Matador to a Dorchester
Sherman GB - Conversion to a Skink AA tank
Medium Bomber GB - SM79
And while it is almost done I will miss the deadline with Canberra for the finish of the Cold War Jets GB.
A GB I have to still start on is the Airfix Building Diorama GB
No excuse always under estimate how much time I have on my hands. For many of the GBs involving conversions strike an obstacle where once I actually make the effort is easily overcome.
Other builds for which I have started threads and not finished;
Scratch build an AEC Armoured Car
Soviet River Gun Boat
Ugly Sisters Build
White Scout Car Conversion
Will 2009 be any better I hope so HoWever before I do sign up to any new builds I will be finishing off a few on the list above; starting with the Lifeboat ! |

I was a bit ambitious for the Cold War GB with the Vulcan and Canberra to build and will complete neither by the deadline tonight. The Vulcan is 90% complete though with some touchups to do and the decals to apply. The Canberra however ..... - will be completed by Cosford |

Forgive me Father for I have sinned...
I don't have a bad conscience over the GBs I've finished a bit late on (heavy and medium bombers spring to mind) but I do fret over two, perhaps three GBs - the Harrier GB which I never started, the Diorama GB (ditto, made even worse by the fact that I sort of, may have even have kicked the GB off... though i am planning on starting soon, honest!) and the Liners at War GB which although started is going to be a looong time afinishing.

I now have one incomplete GB (Cold War Jets) and the Lee/Grant GB ends next weekend so I'll have to see if I can get that one finished on time. _________________ So many kits, so little time |
