Airfix 1/32 WW2 British Paratroops (A02701)

These are the newly re-issued 1/32nd figures. Now moulded in a paintable glueable plastic called K-Resin. This is slightly harder than the polythene used when last issued, so you have to be careful with the ends of weapons as they can now be snapped off rather than just bend out of shape like they used to, at least now they can be glued back on.
Using this new plastic it is much easier to clean up the mould lines and ejector pin marks. This can be done not only with a sharp knife but also sandpaper, the later can be used just as with any conventional plastic kit without it melting and clogging the sanding material. This new plastic formua is also glueable,  so figure conversions are now much easier to perform.
Painting is now much easier, I only used enamels for these, but these went on with no problem whatsoever and stay on as they should, no flaking paint here or priming with detail hiding PVA.
All painted with Humbrol enamels as per customer's orders.

They're certainly better poses than the 1/76 variety
