British ASR Floats

In my digging through information for possible 1/72nd scale boat projects I came across a reference to the German Luffwaffe Udet Rescue Floats. There is a fair amount of information available on these, enough to produce a working set of drawings in 1/72 any way.

While doing this research I came across a reference to a British version which was much more sea worthy. I have found a a couple of photos of one on the net taken at a Maritime Museum. Which one I can't remember and have not been able to discover any more. Anyone able to give some assistance.

Objective would be to work up a set of drawings in 1/72.

Cheers

Further Update;
Museum in question where one of these boats/bouys is on display is the Scottish Maritime Museum at Irvine.
Also there is information available through the the National Archives at Kew :

AIR 2/4721 ROYAL AIR FORCE: Rescue Services (Code B, 67/33): Air/Sea rescue: floats 1941-1946
AIR 2/4744 ROYAL AIR FORCE: Rescue Services (Code B, 67/33): Air/Sea rescue: positioning of floats 1941-1944
AVIA 13/1097 Transmitter type T1299 (rescue float) 1941-1943

I have requested information as re 2/4721 but would till appreciate if anyone has taken any shots of the craft on display at Irvine.

Cheers
