Charity Fundraising 'Treasure Hunt' - WE HAVE A WINNER!

It's time to raise some more money for this year's chosen charities, and the next event will be an online 'Treasure Hunt'.

I will be laying a trail of clues across the site, embedded in existing threads. The first clue will be issued to all entrants, and the answer will take them to the next clue, and so on. The clues will be cryptic, but I've tried not to make them too hard, so everyone should have a chance of winning.

Further details will be issued at the start of the competition, but it will run for four weeks, from Monday 13th August - Sunday 9th September, and the entrance fee will be £2. The prize for the winner will be their choice of any single kit from those that have been donated so far.

It's very quiet here, innit?

Anyone have any comments on the hunt? Anyone entered yet?

I've put all of the entrants names on little pieces of paper and, under carefully controlled conditions (), one of my work colleagues has picked a winner.

And the winner is...

Richard M.

Well done Rich! If you can let me know what kit you want from the stash, I'll pass that on to Dave and the donor.

Well done to Richard for winning and to all those who took part. A big thank you to Adrian for taking the time to set the challenging Treasure Hunt. The Treasure Hunt raised £29.73 from entry fees. In addition there were donations of £30.46 from those not wishing take part but wanting to contribute towards the fundraising. This makes a total of £60.19 added to the Charity pot.

Well done Rich

Just realised that I did not send my answers in

Not to worry, it gave me plenty to do when I was on holiday, straining my eyes using the PDA while the wife look around the shops

Thanks to Adrian for putting it together

Cheers

Stu
