Dkm Prinz Eugen airifx 1/600

Hello my friends
My hollidays are over now and i started a new built. The dkm Prinz Eugen. The basic kit is very good and not a lot of major work will be needed to improve this kit.As usual i used Wem photodec and  scratched parts like AA turrets ,torpedoes rack ...Strangely airifx don t represent all the lifeboats .There is only 2 lifeboat on the kit and in reality there are 10!!
but I will correct this error

Fantastic as always. I'm building the Revell 1/720 Prinz Eugen at the moment, also using the WEM 1/700 PE for the Tamiya kit. Unlike yourself, I paint as I go and like my ships full hull. :-) I also have the Airfix kit, but I built this in the 1970's and wanted to do better this time.

Helo guys, specialy for Sunderlan a little post on the "blast bags" realisation.
For this i used some "green stuff" from game workshop range. It s a very good product and give some very good result with a little of practice. Also you can have the same result with the "miliput"...

See you soon for the next...

Remy,

Which year have you chosen to represent your Prinz Eugen?

You have built-out the shelterdecks a bit larger, is this needed for any time frame, or just a certain period of the ship's life?

Thank you,

Dan

Hello dan, thank for your interest on my built (excuse my bad englis)
I have chosen to represent the Prinz during his 1942 period (operation cerberus) with the top roof of the main turret painted in blue color.
I work with a lot of doc and with a 1:200 plan reduce to 600eme.For me the shape of the  shelterdeck is correct but it s possible that i have made a little error or may be my plan is wrong but i doubt  but it s a little 600 model so.....c est pas important (it s not really important)
Next work the 105mm dca turret in scratch...
See you soon

Hey everyone, just before leaving work tonight, here are some pictures of the turret 105mm dca.The basic piece of kit has been reworked and the result is excellent. This turret looks like a 105mm turret now All pieces to reproduce are finished  and I'll start casting.
See you soon for the next, amitiés Rémy

Hello guys, the multiple pieces are now reproduced, there remains the installation of railings and the creation of the light Anti-Aircraft guns. For this i use the excellent  WEM photodec stuf .After that,i start the paint job.

See you soon for the next, amitiés Rémy

Hello everybody, here we are.
In this  little morning February 12, 1942, the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen crossed the Cape of La Hague in a large air cover provided by the Luftwaffe. It will soon be joined by a dozen of escorts and join the battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau for what will One of the most daring naval operations conducted by the Kriegsmarine, the Cerberus operation ... cloudy and fine sea and 665 miles to cover in the noses of the UK before returning to the safety of the Kiel Canal ...
