First Charity Fundraiser coming up - 1st May 2007On the 1st of May, the first charity fundraiser will be held and it is being sponsored by ModelsForSale.com. The question has been set by Vince of MFS and only he knows the answer - not even his wife knows it, and I certainly don't! As the question is a "guess the number" type of question, he is giving prizes to the person who gets the number right or is nearest and the next two nearest will also get prizes.
First Prize - £100 worth of goods from ModelsForSale.com
Second Prize - £50 worth of goods from ModelsForSale.com
Third Prize - £25 worth of goods from ModelsForSale.com
The goods can be chosen by the winners when they order from from ModelsForSale.com but they will obviously have to liaise with Vince when they wish to claim their prizes. Details on just how to claim prizes will be announced on May 1st. Where more than one person gets the right answer or runners-up get the same answer, then they will go into a hat to be drawn by Vince to determine which one gets the higher prize.
The competition will run for the whole of May with the results being given in early June. As the whole idea of the competition is to raise money for charity, and in view of the excellent prizes provided by ModelsForSale.com, it has been decided that the entry fee will be £5 per answer. Some people may feel that this is a bit high but after a lot of deliberation with moderators, Vince, and others, and taking into account PayPal charges that will be incurred, we decided that £5 is about right. I will certainly be having a go - in fact I will be having at least four goes!
