The user Scribbler is an ID for testing and administrative purposes only, and there may, from time to time, be other members who have moderator privileges for the purposes of accessing certain areas of the forum but these are not Site Moderators, although their username is Moderator colour (green).

Members cannot request to be given Moderator status and are appointed by Ratch as they are required.  There is a shortlist of candidates in place which will be referred to at that time.
