Greetings from darkest China

Greetings from darkest China. I have been an Airfix builder for longer than most of have been alive. Hell, that makes me feel old! I think my first kit was a very second hand Airix 109 which I had to strip the thick paint off and start again. In those days Humbrol only made gloss paint and you had to add matting agent from a tube! I havent made any kits since coming to China five years ago but still buy in the hope that one day I can settle long enough to start again. I am an aircraft fan both in full size and 1/72 but have a soft spot for Airfix 1/32 cars too. By the way I found a hobby shop in Hong Kong which has a mountain of old kits ( and all the latest) for resonable prices...just disregard the price tags. Continental Models at 345 Nathan Rd. just by the Temple St. market if you happen to be passing

Welcome-- don't be afraid to jump in and start building.  Even if you leave the finished model for the hotel staff to enjoy you're building something and that's important.
