Greetings from Milton KeynesHi allI'm a 47 year old lorry driver from MK who grew up building these wonderful kits. I mostly build 1/35 armour,Dragon, Trumpeter,Tamiya etc but every now and again I sneak an old Airfix aircraft in for old times sake to hang on my nephews ceiling I must have built most of the range,as my Dad used to buy me a different kit every Saturday when I stayed with my Grandparents oh how I loved the weekends!!! My current builds are the massive 1/16 Trumpeter King Tiger,and a Bandai 1/16 Traction engine(with a Dennis fire engine in the wings) My 1st ever kit was the Airfix Hawker Demon,I remember the red and yellow decals flaking off after a couple of days!. Some of my favorites were the the HP 0/400,Ford trimotor,the Eboat and the Vosper MTB. I look forward to being an active member on this site and will try and post some pics up soon. Regards Andy |
