Hello everybodiesHi all,
just a note to say hi and introduce myself.
i am a military historian in my late thirties who has returned to what started it all back in the 70s and 80s.
I used to love model kits when i was a kid (wwi &wwii) and they are what started my interest in military history.
i collected loads of models but then stopped in my late teens. My pride and joy were 1/24 scale aircraft series but they all got lost and broke over the years. Until my birthday the other week that is. My girlfriend and brother went snooping through my old photos of when i was a kid in search of prezzy ideas. I got a 1/24 scale airfix Stuka and the Battle of Waterloo farm and figure set.
I have got loads of paints and a new airbrush so its time to crack on.
however, I haven't painted in years and want to make a good job of the stuka with weathering and all so any tips are well received. Just about to start on the cockpit. so hello everybody
