Hello, nice site!!!

I'm from across the pond and enjoy Airfix builds greatly. I find a lot of times Airfix is just as accurate or more so and less fiddely than the mainstream wonder companys like Tamiya and Hasegawa. Airfix also has a lot of subjects no one else does. I also enjoy Matchbox and Heller along with the good old Revell and Monogram kits. I build mainly 1/72 aircraft and have a preference for early jets. Nice site and I think this will be a very interesting and informative site!!!!

Thanks for the welcome.  I posted some of my work on Members Portfolios, excuse my sloppy posting of pics there,I am getting use to this sites workings. I have 3 Airfix builds going on now---all 1/72, Su27 Flanker,F2H Banshee(MPC),  and P-38F. I am amazed at the level of detail in the Banshee and P-38 as a lot of my modeling aquaintences insist you have to have Hasegawa, Tamiya or some of the other so called wunder kit companies.---John
