Morning all!

After a lot of lurking & gathering of tips it's about time I showed my face.
I'm a born again modeller who used to make tons when I was a lad, mostly Airfix & Matchbox aircraft but also Tamiya armour as I hit my teens.
Beer, girls, football, marriage, buying houses, having kids e.t.c. put a stop to it all but about 2 years ago I thought let's make a kit.

One Airfix Beaufighter later I realised what I'd been missing for the last 25 years & since then it's been;
Airfix: Harrier, Sea King, Hurricane, Sea Fury, Me109.
Revell: Wellington, Skyraider, F-16, Sopwith camel.

I'm currently making the Airfix Britten Norman Islander & I'm going to make it the RAF Northolt Station Flight version that slowly buzzes over my house most days hunting for undesirables!

Also got a nicely expanding stash including a couple of 1/48 kits for when I feel a bit braver.

Anyway that's enough waffle from me & thanks for all the tips I've managed to glean from lurking!!

Welcome to the forum Neil!  You'll find a lot of kindred 'returnees' here who'll be able to help you build that stash!

Enjoy your time here. Don't be shy, show us your work, tell us what you're doing and don't be afraid to ask questions - the only stupid question is the one you didn't ask

Hi Neil and Welcome to the ATF. In my experience a stash will grow faster than you can build them.
