A quick update about the money raised so far for the ATF Fundraising. As you may be aware, we have now raised £275.00 in total. £235.48 from the May Competition and a total of £39.52 from donations made by members. The latest one was from Ron (fluff75) who made a donation yesterday to make up for being unable to attend the first Jolly Boys' Outing. Nice gesture, Ron! BTW, should anybody else wish to make donations, they can get details from the ATF Web Site.

Payments to Charities
Anyway, next week I will be making some payments to our four nominated charities. I thought that rather than have a large amount sitting around, it would be better to get it out of my bank account and sent to the charities. You may remember that the money was being split in the ratio 40:20:20:20 with Medecins Sans Frontieres receiving the largest proportion. So, I will be sending four cheques totalling £275 as follows:

Medecins Sans Frontieres - £110
Great Ormond Street - £55
Cancer Research UK - £55
WWF - £55

Future Fundraisers
It is hoped to have the next fundraiser at the end of July/early August. More details on that will follow later on in July.

Latest update on the money raised so far for this year's charities.  After four months of fundraising, the total amount raised has now passed £312.  We still have a long way to go until the fundraising ends in May 2008 and we are currently discussing all sorts of ways of raising money.  See other threads for details.

We currently have a Treasure Hunt running which only costs £2 to enter and the winner can choose any kit from the list of pledged kits. Follow the link at the top of the page for more details on how to enter. If you find the Treasure Hunt not to your liking you can just make a donation if you wish.  More details on how to make a donation can be found on the ATF web site, here.

A big thank you to all of you who have supported the fundraising so far.

Latest update - 20th March

We have now raised over £606 for the 2007/8 fundraising campaign, beating our 2006/7 total by more than £200.  The entries and donations since the launch of the latest competition 12 days ago have already totalled over £270. An excellent start and we still have more than six weeks to go before the draw.

Latest update - 2nd May

We have now raised over £693 for the 2007/8 fundraising campaign, beating our 2006/7 total by almost £300 so far.  We still have until the end of May before we finally close the current fundraising campaign so you can still send in donations. You also have forty-eight hours left to enter the final ATF Charity Fundraiser.

Thank you to all who have supported the fundraising so far.

Latest update - 12th May

We have now raised the princely sum of £807.85 for the 2007/8 fundraising campaign - more than double the total raised by the previous campaign, 2006/7.

A big thank you to all of you who have contributed in some way to the fundraising.  The campaign is due to finish at the end of May so there is still time to make donations.
