Hi,I am celt and I have been doing models on and off for the last 35 years.I use a hairy stick and build models OOB and do not use any aftermarket bits, although I have been known to use aftermarket decals. My main interest used to be aircraft of the second WW, after 35 years or so I have changed to armour in a big way.

This is Airfix 1/72/76, Cromwell ,painted with Humbrol Acrylics with a brush and dry brushed to bring out the detail.

A nice start to your portfolio, I used to only build aircraft when I restarted this hobby but then gradually started to build AFVs in-between long runs of aircraft which I found appealing and now I will probably have a run on AFV's and break that up with a run on aircraft.

Regards
Mark

Very nicely detailed vehicles, (especially 1/72). I think I will be sticking to my WW2 Aircraft for quite awhile, (still got 180 in the stash), (plus 1 Tank).
Mike
P.S. Are your boys still living, or did you introduce them to a different form of Golf? (mine took pot shots with "Nerf Guns").

Nice start to your portfolio Celt :clapping: Very nice finishes on show :thumb:
Variety is the spice of life, try some "Floaty Things" and some jet powered subjects :thumb:
All my models used to hang from the ceiling too, as well as take up all the available shelf space in my room, there's a thread 'round the forum here somewhere with pics.
