Umm, this thread's been moved out of the GB area to it's own section.... ummm, any reason why?!

Someone's been fiddling with the GB's admin board, should be all OK now, I've just got to dig the Seaplane GB out of the middle of the 2006 GB's

I would like to change my project from the Marauder to a Blenheim IV. I can't face looking at that Marauder again. The Blenheim, on the other hand, is wonderfully horrible. It has rivets the size of watermelons and so much flash that the copyright holders of "Flash Gordon" are sending me letters.

Having had so much fun with the 'Wimpey', I quite fancy doing another build.
Could I have another thread, or do I continue with the existing one? _________________ Bubbly! |

Hi Dan, I bought the Airfix mosquito today and was hoping I could do the black MKII nightfighter scheme as part of the GB? Does it still count as a medium bomber at a stretch? or do I have to build the silver MkVI silver RAAF version to qualify? _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

yeah I know... was wondering if it squeezed into the 'medium bomber' category by the skin of it's teeth? I'm going to guess probably not by your response. I only asked as I've already bought the black paint & have been planning to enter a group build for a while... oh well- what's coming up after the 24th build? |

You could hang onto it George, as there has been a bit of interest in a Nightfighter GB in the future.
Otherwise go on a hunt for another suitable FB.VI scheme if you don't want to build the RAAF silver scheme.
If you don't have the decals in 'spares' I'm sure we can manage to get together some codes and serials for you! |

Hi Colin, I've bought the black paint now & can't really afford to change my mind! I could just glue the bombs to the wings but it doesn't seem right in a nightfighter scheme, it'd be more like a 'medium guessbomber,' which seems to me to be taking the P with the GB theme! I started it today anyway, but I've only done the cockpit & painted the figures so I could put it on hold- I might start that Avia I got from you Colin, & I've got an academy mustang which I was given for my birthday which I could start. Anyway, I apologise, I'm waffling. I'll have a look at the nightfighter potential GB! _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

it's a 2008 release I think & it's a boxing I've never seen before so I've no idea how he got hold of it!
Cheers for the thread Dan I'll start it in the next couple of days. _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

Well guys and girls, it's coming to the end of this being an active GB and we'll soon be relocated to the "Group Builds Plus" area where those amongst us who haven't yet finished can continue their builds.
We've had some great models so far with some superb finishes (and all those Blenheims, too!).
We're all looking forward, I'm sure, to seeing the rest cross the finishing line, too.
As for me - well, I'm looking forward to the next projects for the Cold War Jets GB!
