Hi Paul. The WEM mast and crane PE is superb. Really fine detail.

I'll post some pics of the build soon.

My problem is (apart from lack of building time) that I just spend far too much time faffing about making extra parts.

Tell me about it- the faffing about anyway

i might be wrong but i think there is no replacement of the aerial masts - the ones that look a bit like cranes on the port
side- i think that is what they are- the kit ones look a bit clunky, but very delicate to scratch.

LO mate,

It's the GB membership that's pending. If someone has to "sign me up" they might be on leave. I'll give a week or so yet. I'm in no hurry.

Paul... Are the long thingies hanging off both sides not cranes but aerial masts?     Nailbiting

That makes some sense of all the strange "wires" I've seen attached to them I suppose.

Can't remember where i saw it now, but it referred to them as aerials, possibly UHF.  I always wondered what those things were on the sides of carriers.

when i find the source will let you know.

7 more days left on the official time build tell this goes to GB-plus, but with models with etching like these and building with etching for the first time, i knew this would happen.

all model compleat and half built look great and cant wait to finish my own and see the others finished to
