I voted for a "single subject" group build, but I put as much thought into it as the average voter...

I did notice that during the Harrier group build, few of the participants were reading the other threads and learning from them! (I refer you to the problematic anhedral of the harrier wings...)   The wings were mentioned, and subsequently a new post would appear showing that the builder hadn't read the other threads.

So maybe the whole 'learn from others' idea is off-base... I dunno. Think

The GB that I took part in like the Viggen and cent builds where very helpful on Copying ops I mean learning from others in the build, but saying that... a lot of different skill ranges here so even on a single subject build they are not all the same due to the fiddlers out there. And to be honest in the builds of multi subjects most of you guys have built most of the airfix kits and still be able to offer advice even if they are doing a different subject in that build.

I think subjects can be picked due to interest and what’s in the ole stash (this is where the themed builds win as more people can join in with some thing in there stash they would like to start but need the excuse to do so).  When you have 2 or 3 or maybe more choices and they are all close let’s say for e.g. 4. 4. 5. Votes and said subject with 5 votes wins the build, this will most probably not have 13 people building and most probably only the 5 or a little more.   not there any thing wrong with the smaller numbers in a GB
