Hi Sarge,
just caught up with this- it looks great!
One thing is where do we get decal sheets to put in the old inkjet? See the posts above advising you to try it.
cheers Stuart

There are various suppliers - try googling 'inkjet decal paper' and 'laserjet decal paper' or various combinations thereof. I've had some laser stuff from Hannants before and a set from a company called Galaxy in Ipswich, which was really good quality but very expensive. You can get clear and white, which is good for roundels and such like.

Great looking MkI Sarge - I'm not normally into tracky things but this project is really appealing.

'Victory' has finally received her oil-washes and is drying:

Once the washes are properly dry, she will be flat coated and dusted with pastels.

All the best

Cheers lads.....I'm having trouble with my tail-pipe!

I've had to redo the oils on the exhaust pipe, fortunately I had the very last sludgy dregs of a burnt sienna/umber wash, which was almost perfect for the job.  It has been drying for a while, so I should be able to patch up the flatcoat and add the finishing touches shortly.

All the best

A Long Road To Victory:

It's taken quite a while but it's finally done.

The figure and the Boys Rifle are just a temporary lash-up while I have yet another go at sorting out a suitable commander for it.  Scarves will once again be a feature!

All the best

Scarves? I thought that those guys wore leather facemasks overlaid with chain mail against the bullet splashes coming through the joints in the armour plating!
Nice one Sarge

It's a good kit as is and can easily be tweaked into an accurate Mk.I, Mk.II or even a Mk.III IIRC.

My only advice would be to be prepared for a fight with the tracks.....Use CA and accellerator, work a centimetre or two at a time and make sure everything is properly stuck down before moving on to the next section.

For what it's worth, all the best
Sgt.S
