Awesome build Heepdrutt!!

I was going to build mine oob when I drag my VJ set out of the loft, but after seeing the quality of the pe I'm tempted to give WEM a call.

Thank you all for the kind comments and help.
I've finally finished my first model in about eight years last one was the PM Sea Fury now in an Airfix box I notice.
Looking forward to the FAA group build.
Best regards
Mark

Devastator TBD-1 Black 71-S-16 Lt B.V.Clark VS-71 USS Wasp Atlantic June 1941.

Humbrol acrylics and varnish. Cockpit glazing masked by Maskol and stuck down with clearfix.
Decals forced to stay put by decalfix.

Here's mine, finished using the kit decals. I did have some problems with them which you can read about in my thread but overall I'm quite pleased with the results.

I thought the wartime markings would make a change from the yellow wings, not to mention being easier to paint.

Some fantastic builds so far that put mine to shame.  And I think it also proves how populare the Yellow winged colour scheme must be with us modellers.

Heres the finished build.  Decals were a nightmare (see the build thread for details)

Hi I am new to this forum - I have just looked at the models in your gallery - they are suberbly built and look most realistic and are a credit to you. It is My ambition that one day I will be able to create such Masterpieces

Hi Rogue That is just the place where all these modellers started from, you can look forward to what you can do in future, none of them started off by making such good models.
