It shouldn't happen as you have sealed them. perhaps you didnt put enough matt cote on. Just out of curiousity why did you put the roundels on when you still had painting to do?, I always leave mine until I have finished painting _________________ Cheers

the reason i put the decals on the underside was i had completed the painting and was a bit to keen to see some of it near to finishing this build has been somewhat of a learning curve and if i can learn from my mistakes(and there have been loads ) then it will have been worth it, ive now removed the decals and lightly brushed over the area with Hum 90 & think i might just have got away with it the only thing now is, is the spare decals ive got are the OOB ones and they are on brown paper backing oh well _________________ Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few. |

thanks walrus, i think i might try and mix a colour up myself being as the scratches are quite small if it doesnt work i might just leave them as im sure they must get damaged in real life
just waiting for the decals to dry off now and then a couple of coats of Klear, a wash and then a couple of coats of Matt Cote, nearly there _________________ Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few. |

well finally finished & had problems right up to the end, went out of my room to set up the camera & tripod in the garden and as i closed the door a sheet of board fell on top of it breaking the mirror and ariel
all in all a nice build which ive really enjoyed but im not sorry its over as im looking forward to building something a bit different.
its taken 3 months and cost around £60-£65 to build so i wont be doing to many in this scale but have certainly learnt a lot
here she is;

Looks worth all that effort and well done for sticking to it despite the hassles.
my only criticism and i may be wrong any hoo- is that the pilot looks a little low in the seat
but just trying to find faults due to Hurricane envy
the much used refrain- if only i had the space for one that big! Nice work Mark
