Ditto! Very sweet build and paint job, as we've come to expect

Ron

Very nice build and I concur, it is a fun kit to make. I like the markings on your version, the original kit decals were very basic.

Nice build!
Can I ask what colours you used?

Thanks,
Pim

Hi Pim,
The colours were as the AIRFIX instructions-
top surface Hu123 and Hu224 with Hu90 on the under surfaces.
Best wishes,
Ron.

Thanks Ron,
I was just wondering as the colours seemed lighter then I expected.
123 and 224 it will be

Cheers

Beautifully-done, Ron. You'll get the hang of this caper, soon

Hi Brews,
Thanks for you kind remarks about the Wildcat.
As for "getting the hang of this caper soon" I doubt it because I have been doing it for 73 years (first kit was 1:72 scale Skybirds Hawker Hart - kit No 20A in theri range of wooden models -which I was given for Christmas in 1935).  Even after all this time and  countless attempts at different models I still find that I cannot get one that is 100% right. I am sure that you know what I mean? However recent ones are certainly superior to my earlier efforts.
It is revealing to put the newer ones next to the 30-40 year old  models in the display cabinet. I hope to do this later this year with the Bv141 and the FW189 kits.
Best
Ron.

Constant, incremental improvement is what it's all about. You never fail to impress with your completed models
