Could you explain to this FAA newb why the underside of that particular Seahawk was white instead of the usual Sky??

In the late fifties/early sixties the FAA changed to white undersides - Sea Vixens, Scimitars were that combination and there were still a few Sea Hawks in service that went that way too.

That funny looking boxing is for a Supermarine Attacker not the Airfix Seahawk which is sitting upon it
