Hello peeps,

Nightstalkers Start date Poll is now running!

The poll itself is in a separate forum which cannot be accessed unless members sign up for the Group Build. To do so:

If you wish to take part in the Group Build, you must sign up using the Usergroups link at the top of the screen (above the Log in/Log out link).

Important: Do NOT sign up as a participant of a Group Build if you only want to view the threads!

To take part in the Group Build:

Click on "Usergroups"

In the "Join a Group" section, select "Group Build - Airfix Nightstalkers"
Click "View Information"

Click on "Join Group".

I'll then approve your membership & you can participate in the poll. You have 10 days to vote!

George

Bump for this one, as there are 10 people who voted for the Nightstalkers GB in the original poll who are yet to vote in the start date Poll, & a few are yet to join the group.
If you're bothered about the start date you don't have long peeps!

Not very chatty in here is it?

Any ideas what you will be buiding yet?  I may have done something a little foolish; I've ordered a horribly expensive short run kit.....For its undercarriage!

All the best

I think that part of the problem is; Some people won't sign up to this GB just to part part in the Start Date Poll. This is because they may not like the start date.

I have joined although I am not sure what I will build yet.  I don't seem to be able to access the poll though so I have yet to vote on a start date.

I'll be building a mosquito, probably a hurricane & suject to decals will build a Beaufighter & may attempt my 3 Defiants in 3 hours build. I've always had a special interest in Night Fighters.

Bob, you should now have access to the start date poll, let me know on here if you haven't, I've approved your membership into the group so can't see why you wouldn't.

I'll probably be building a Mosquito or possibly two, depending on how long it takes me to build the first one.

I've just joined up.  Not sure if I will attempt the P61 Black widow, a Beau or a Mossie.

i decided to unsubscribe myself to this GB as i haven't been able to do any modeling this year (as of yet) and as such am behind/unstarted on other GBs and it would be unfair to George to have the same happen with his first GB as leader. If I find myself able to join (and by that I mean with no late GBs) before or during the timeslot of this one I will rejoin

Iv' been looking around at what to build and quiet like the idea of doing a Mosquito or Beaufighter but just wanted to know where I can get the darker marking from?

Do you mean the nightfighter scheme DE/DG/Night
If it's not in the box you must make it up

You can get the mosquito scheme YP*R out of the box, & if you want to do a Beaufighter you'll have to find your own markings. I think I may have a spare set from an old ESCI decal sheet. I'll have a look later & let you know.
