Tirpitz in scheme 'G'. At the end of June 1942 she arrived at the Lufoten Islands with the Admiral Hipper, with whom she carried out an abortive attack on Convoy P.Q.17. in early July.

My conversion of the Sunderland kit to an Empire 'C Class' Flying Boat.
The aircraft is ex G-AETY 'Clio' which post-militarisation was issued the serial AX659.

A glorious build! It's been truly fantastic watching this conversion come together - thanks for having the bravery to attempt it and share it with us.
