I am going to build this. It has been lurking in my pile for several years, so this is a good excuse to build it:

I made a start in the usual areas with the cockpit, crew and interior:
I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the mouldings, lack of flash and sink marks. It should be a pleasure to build.

The wings are now on - again a lovely fit. It is beginning to look like a Mosquito:

I can see that you're going to be providing the 2nd build in the gallery! _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill |

The undercarriage is now assembled and painted. I thought this was quite a detailed but neat arrangement. Next task is to sort out the engines.

Biggles and Algy.......I was going to say Cliff Robertson and Angus Lennie. "This one is a bit dicey sir.......Let's just set this one out."

Great work on the undercarriage; I always find it's by far the most troublesome stage of the build for this kit. _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

The next stage is fitting the undecarriage into the engine nacelles. This was a real fiddle as it required lining up the 4 lugs on the undercarriage legs to the 2 halves of the engine. It took a few goes and some sticky fingers, but got there:
Once dry the engines, with undercarriage were attached to the wings. The nose detail and canopy have also been added:

The final details have been added:
Then the model was masked up using maskol for the canopy and I use tin foil around the undercarriage. I was worried that tape might damage this area when it is removed. I quite often use tinfoil on areas which can break easily. The whole thing was sprayed Matt Black using a rattle can and set to dry:
Almost there. Decals next.
