Hi Folks

Only a couple of days to go now before the official start of the Airfix Concorde GB. This is already the best supported Civilian aircraft GB on ATF (probably says more about the appeal of the subject than that of the GB leader, but never mind!)

If anyone else would like to join in, or gets inspired later by the progress of the builds, please sign up. To do so, now or later, just follow the instructions in the first post in this thread.

The only rules are that it has to be based on an Airfix Concorde. Any scale, any scheme, real or otherwise, will be welcome.

Have fun!

Colin

So far I have dry-fitted the stand and looked again at what is in the box.

I think I'm going to need a larger house...

Its only a bit smaller than a 1/1 Bucc

The wing is bigger than a 1/144 Conky and a 1/72 JP for comparison !!

Not saying that mine is bigger than yours...

The spec on the right wing is a 1/72 Harrier GR3

Better than I was expecting, but I fear to get the seamless finish that she deserves is going to take a lot of work.

I'm tempted to send mine to Paula & Dan for final assembly!

Compared to what I usually build even the 1/144 version is big but in 1/72 scale it looks huge!
