On Thursday a nearby Lidl has gloss clear spray and spray paint on offer.
So I think I’ll drop by to pick up some cans, and get going with a clear cote on the now dry paint.

Interior done:
The body is still waiting to get a clear cote, since I had to make some touch-ups.

Thanks!
It's a great kit to make, well thought out and straight forward.
I wonder if anyone is producing it at the moment, if not, it’s a great shame.

For many years I was thinking about building my 300SL like a “Pimpmobile”:
Bright yellow body with glitter stripes, pink fluffy interior, the lot…
I’m glad I didn’t.
I think I’ll wait until I get a DB5 kit.

Very nice interior - for those that remember the two tone red/white '57 corvette with the 327 - exact interior colour! _________________ the evolution of the modern car is such it now ressembles a toaster. |

Hi Paula.
There has been a pause in the build, with a week away on holiday and after that, the first hectic week on my workplace.
So I haven’t done much except painting the inner roof, fitting the hood and lining the window frames with black to simulate the rubber.
I also spend plenty of time correcting a poor fitting motor, The motor itself was ok,
but due to gluing some of the parts according to the instructions before the motor was mounted, the bits and pieces didn’t line up well.
But I’m confident it will be finished in the next few days.
