Well my proposed build has got off to a bad start, a friend of mine working in the USA found an Airfix TR7 1/24, but after 6 weeks it still hasn't arrived (lost in customs somewhere) and we are getting reembursed.
But as I don't have any more in the stash, i will be on the lookout for a new subject. I also start my holidays on 15th July-5th Aug so build will not start untill  Aug, at least I might find an interesting kit while I am away, we are travelling from Cumbria to Cornwall, and back up home via  Automodellismo 2009 Donington Park 2nd Aug so we will take in a few LMS on our tour I'm sure something suitable will turn up

Change of plan, we brought our hols forward to avoid the school hols, so we have just returned from two and a half weeks in Cornwall & longleat, great weather lovely time. I also picked up this on my travels

so this will be my entry into the build, still waiting to see what happens with the TR7

not much to show for a couple of hours work, I usually work in 1/24 so the smaller scale is a bit of a challange to my eyes
lots of flash to sort, two major mould lines and shocking fit issues with the bodywork, lots of filling and sanding required, apart from that it seems to be a great little kit!!!!........I will try and post some pics tomorrow

managed to get the camara set up today, as I was taking some snaps of a couple of projects I have on the go.
The aforementioned filling and sanding

and I managed to get a coat of primer on. Still a couple of areas need attention and sanded before we get to the next painting stage. I may have a start on the interior tomorrow

Hi Rallychef, have you managed to make a start on the interior?

Well seeing as some people are parking up their builds in the Gallery, I think I had better get my finger out. Delayed slightly by disapearing for a week, (went to Donington to the Automodellismo show at the museum), I am also busy as a mod for a historic rally car build on another forum.
Anyway thats enough of the excuses. I have decided to go with British Racing Green, with a light tan interior, so we will get a start on the interior today [hopefully]

Good progress today, bodyshell painted, interior painter, much of the wheels chromework etc painted, I have taken a pic, but the light is not ideal for photographs this time of night.

I will try and post some better pics tomorrow.
hopefully we will get some assembly done over the weekend.

sorry I've been missing folks, my wife has been really poorly & been in and out of hospital for the past couple of weeks (some 70 miles away) so a lot of travelling and staying with friends to be close by so no time for much else. Anyway she is on the mend and i will try to get the jag assembled over the next couple of days

So sorry to hear that Mrs D has been unwell.  Pleased to hear that she's on the mend, and our best wishes to you both.

Well here we go, no numberplates, because I don,t like the paper cut out type with the kit. I will produce some next time i put some decal paper through the printer ( not doing one for a set of 1/32 plates)

not my greatest effort, a bit rushed due to home factors but here it is
