A few fit problems with the PR9, none that i was not expecting. These where not helped by me filing out the locating pips in the nose to fit the resin nose.

Next lot of progress on the SC9. Its now had 3 coats of white from a rattle can and is ready for the other colours.
My appologies for the visitor in the corner, he is a work in progress for another project. |

| Thank you. Shes almost at a stalling point now whilst i wait for a new deck part that sits above the bow sprit. Lets hope Airfixs spares department can get me one quick. |

| I orderd the missing deck section on the 9th and it arrived today. I was not expecting that. I have now glued it in and painted it and got the model ready for the bit i was last looking forward to, thhe masts and rigging. |

Ive made a start on the masts of the Cutty Sark and i am not enjoing this stage, the parts are so fragile and bend easily.

Has anyone built this kit with the plastic rigging bits? The ones i have seem way to long for the gaps for them and i am not sure what to do.
Ooops ive already spotted my problem, now to fix it. |
