That's looking good BW. I bought myself another today with near perfect decals, so I've got two decent sets and only need one. If you want a set just PM me and I'll send them to you.
Cheers

Thanks for the comments guys.
Dangerbod, thanks for the offer, the decals from my spares box look to be in good condition so I'll try them and see how it goes. _________________ "It's life Jim, but not as we know it!" - Dr McCoy

Thanks Tom.
Today I applied the mottling, once again I ignored the colour callouts in the painting instructions.

Not much done this week, I masked and painted the black and white fuselage band.

A bit more progress - I put a couple of coats of klear on over the weekend, just needs one or two more coats and it's ready for decals. _________________ "It's life Jim, but not as we know it!" - Dr McCoy

| That camo looks really good. It's inspiring me to pick up another of the Airfix 190D-9's. Maybe to build that JV-44 scheme. . . |

I've got the decals on now, I was going to seal them with another coat of klear but something really strange happened - the decals REPELLED the klear! It just won't cover them, just forms tiny little drops and dries blotchy. looks like I'll have to use glosscote instead. _________________ "It's life Jim, but not as we know it!" - Dr McCoy
