Thanks chaps, they have taken the clamps out and the bone is knitting beautifully, three tiny scars that are hard to see already. It just goes to show that if they think they have slipped up, they can do a very good job when needed.
Rotation excercises are not fun .... sheer torture.  
The physio (psycho ) reckons I'll get about 85% movement back eventually, I'm on 35% unsupported so far.

And Kitnut, & Feo she recommends lifting pints as a good excercise. Or was that excuse ???
