Great to see all your builds, Hardtarget.

Especially your P-51B.
I finished one at the start of the year, and found it to be a most enjoyable and easy kit.

Thanks guys, i aim to get a couple more in before the time is out, maybe a Horsa Glider after the p-51. Id like to do a P-47 but cant seem to find an airfix kit thats avaliable.

Anyway some Marauder development pics prior to decaling.

Thanks, i must add though that the decals were VERY flimsy and very delicate. the amount of time i had to unfold the very things was crazy, the wife had to calm me down a bit and made me a cuppa to cool me down.  I suggest order a few replacement sheets from airfix before proceeding as mistakes will happen.

Great work on the B26. I'll have to do some work on mine.

Very nicely done

Sounds like the decals were produced by the same company that did the Seafire ones, they do drive you to the very limit don't they

I may have to look for some aftermarket decals for my Marauder.

Cheers

Stu

Looks great.  Did you manage to get enough weight into it?

Yep, a couple of ball bearings to the weight of 12g held in with bluetak.  I really need to get some proper weight but i dont have a clue where from.

Fishing weights would be fine. Either get a multishot dispensor or a pot of BBs or AAAs. They will be sold at any tackle shop and not too dear.

pot of AAA's or BB's about £1.50 or a multishot dispensor depending on size £5-£8. the multishot has very small sizes to big sizes so yould could accurately weight a model. But some BB's would be fine.

Sorry for the lack of update, better late than never some development shots of the P51B with final shots taken today in the hanger.

Taped and ready for the white sections.

All taped up for the black invasion stripes

Ready for decals

Finished shot
