Mariner,

I'm pretty sure that to use seperate ESCs with twin motors you'd need a third channel on your Rx.

With a 2-channel set, you can either run both motors through a single ESC or run the two ESCs through a mixer such as Action produce. The latter automatically slows the inner motor on a turn to give better manouverability.

The down side with all this fancy electronic gear, though, is that it can get expensive. Good luck with your projects.

Hi Biggles

You are quite right as I found to my chagrin . So i have shelved the idea. My Airfix "Bismark" is ready for a R/C test before fixing the deck. But, as for the "Scharnhorst" I am lost for the moment. As I have just bought a Heller 1/400th "Graf Spee" I will make the C.C.Lee one as per instructions which means a free runner with no directional control. When the Heller kit arrives I will see what I can do with it. [No rude remarks please ]

Cheers

Ian
