Some more progress tonight.

Flaps on


Exhausts painted and main camo reversed as the Airfix painting guide in this boxing is wrong.




The start of the decalling. JE J. sounds familiar  Think

Yellow id wing bands will be masked and painted later on.  I had some decals for them but they didn't work out.

A fine kit. You have done gorgeous work here. I love this livery.

In Normandy last week I was reminded again that the invasion stripes were not for the purposes of Identification, Friend or Foe, but for traffic control - the hope was that the stripes would aide in preventing mid-air collisions.

Great looking plane.
