Thanks for the tip Ratch, I've done this today with some titanium white acrylic and a cocktail stick. Looks a little rough up close but OK from a couple of feet away.

Progress update. I've put two coats of mattcote on and drybrushed the model with Hu86 lightened with Hu93 to give a faded look to the paintwork. This has also nicely blended the decals in.











Just a few finishing touches to do now.

The Bren Carrier + 6pdr is now finished.

Universal Carrier and 6pdr Anti-tank Gun of the 51st (Highland) Infantry Division, Normandy, June 1944.
