Aaargh! Just realised that I've taken the pictures without the life rafts in place!! And I was going to take a pic next to the Vosper to show the difference in sizes...

Have to wait for daylight again now!

Very nice build Adrian. I must admit that it does look "right" with the depth charges. The black rigging on the guardrails makes for a nice contrast too. Did you put the navigation lights on after the pictures were taken as I can't see them?

BTW, I see you used a table for positioning your pictures. Unfortunately, using tables in a post with other text causes havoc and you get the big gap you see between text and first picture. Tables have to be on their own with no other text and no line breaks in the code. It would be better to have them out of a table, even if they have to be underneath each other and not alongside.

Cheers Dave. I wondered why on earth I had that gap, and I couldn't get rid of it no matter what I tried.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, one of my navigation lights went walkies during the build. I've painted the other one up, but I've left it off. Not sure whether it is better to have one and it look a bit lop-sided, or leave it off so that they are even. I could scratch build one, but I'm not sure I can be bothered.

It is a right pain and is a bug in the forum software I'm not sure if it has been fixed for the next release that should be implemented early on this year. I had a right old time when I posted the Humbrol Paint Chart in the Decals and Paint Schemes Forum!

Serves me right for not reading all of your posts! I know how you feel about rectifying it. Sometimes I can be in the mood to do something, other times I just couldn't care less and leave it as it is.

As promised, here are pictures with the life rafts in place, and alongside the Airfix Vosper MTB to compare size.

The last picture shows the very handy colour-coding used to differentiate between forces - the goodies had white masts, and the baddies black.
