As you know civil aircraft aren't really my thing, but getting the hovercraft in will give me an excuse to build it

Right, chaps and chapesses. We're half way through the current civil build - of any subject that takes your fancy - so I'm looking for ideas and proposals for the next one, which obviously will take place in 2010.

When we've gathered some ideas, I'll set up a poll to vote on whether we have a theme or a single subject - or nothing at all. The result of that poll will then be followed up by another poll to settle the actual subject matter. This is going to take a while, so over the next 2 weeks or so I'd like to gather ideas up.

Some existing suggestions are for:
-> DC-3 build
-> F-27 build
-> Rotodyne build

-> 1:72 build (anything from 1:72 range)
-> 1:144 build (anything from the 1:144 range)
-> Widebody build (anything in1:144 or 1:350 that is a widebody)
-> Old Soldiers Never Die (retired military aircraft in civil use)
-> Trailblazers of Aviation (Aircraft that made their mark in the history books)
-> Turboprops (we'd bend the rules to breaking point to allow in other turbine powered, propellor driven aircraft such as the C-130 and the OV-10)

So, canvassing any other ideas. Get 'em in, deadline Friday 11th December, then we start polling.

Of course, the usual rules apply - you suggest it, you lead it!!!!

Dan

How about 'For King & Country' - Civil aircraft pressed into military service.....It would compliment the 'Old Soldiers Never Die' idea rather well.

Just a thought, all the best

I've got two Fokkers, a Concorde, a DC-10 and a Constellation so I'm up for anything which might include them.
