We still have the Aircraft Carrier and Liners at War GBs upcoming. If there is still interest, we could have the poll during the Liners at War GB.

The HMS Belfast GB ends on the 25th, so I expect the Aircraft Carrier GB will start soon after. HMS Victorius is expected to be released this month as well. Do we have a volunteer for the Aircraft Carrier GB?

Whats the latest guys? are we going to hold out until Victorious hits the shelves for the carrier build? If so are we thinking of substituting something else, enjoyed the Belfast build so much, so want another one to get into

I do think we should wait for HMS Victorious to come out before starting the Carrier build.

However, we could start the Liners at War GB. You're nominated as the Group Leader for this. Is that OK?

Hi Steven, no reason why we couldnt do that so long as everyone is ready to go, we didnt actually agree a start date did we? Just agreeing that it would be after the Carrier GB. Dont forget will need some guidance for setting everything up as this will be my first GB as build leader.

Thanks Chippy. This is all new for me as well. I believe the first step is that I contact DaveCov so that he can set up a subforum for the GB, in which you will be GB Leader. Your next task is set up a poll for the start date for the GB.

Right, I've contacted Davecov so that he can make JackJ the Group Build leader and also to create the Airfix Aircraft Carriers GB Usergroup. I've also contacted JackJ to let him know that the ball is now rolling.

The Liners at War GB finishes on 31 October. The Airfix Aircraft Carriers GB should start after this date. The exact date will be determined in a poll run by JackJ in the Airfix Aircraft Carriers GB Usergroup. To participate in the GB, wait until the Usergroup appears in the GB Forum. You then sign onto the GB by clicking onto "Usergroups" at the top of the page and selecting "Group Build - Airfix Aircraft Carriers". This should then give you access to the Airfix Aircraft Carriers GB Usergroup.

The necessary Usergroup and Start Date Poll Forum have now been set up for the forthcoming Airfix Aircraft Carriers Group Build. The forum for the actual GB will be set up on completion of the Start Date Poll.
