The usergroup is there, Steven - you must be looking in the wrong area. Until you sign up to it, you will find it in the "Non-member groups" under "Join a group". It is called "Group Build - Airfix Aircraft Carriers" - and I see Ratch has signed up already.

Sorry, I meant to say sub-forum. I don't see a sub-forum listed in the group builds forum. Should it it be there? How does anyone know that they can sign up to the GB? Should I announce it in the Ships & Boats forum? Or should JackJ do that? Apologies for all the questions. :-) _________________ If you would like Airfix to release a 1/600 kit of HMS Dreadnought,

There is no sub-forum yet Steven. The start date poll is a separate forum in the Group Builds section. JackJ should post the start date poll in there, then post another thread in the relevant admin forum to announce instructions for people to sign up, as in this thread. _________________ Cheers,

As Adrian says, it should be announced in the Ships & Boats forum either by yourself or JackJ. As soon as the Start Date is known, then the forum will be created.

I don't see this start-date forum in the Group Builds section. Presumably, this is because I havn't joined the GB.
JackJ is too busy building his house to participate in the GB, but he says he can be GB Leader. I'll let him know that he has to look in the start-date forum in the GB section and to make the announcement in the GB Admin - Ships and Boats subforum and Ships and Boats forum. My this is complicated. :-) _________________ If you would like Airfix to release a 1/600 kit of HMS Dreadnought,

Yes, you have to sign up to the usergroup and the Start Date forum will then appear on it's own beneath the Group Build Plus forum.I wrote to Jack yesterday explaining how to do the poll and where to announce it.
