I could possibly lead a build, although I wouldn't really be too keen on leading a build if my suggestion was voted I've got quite a bit on my plate at the moment. The sugestion could still be put forward but it might be better if someone else leads it _________________ Owen

If yours is chosen Owen (or anyone else's for that matter), timing will be at the GB Leader's discretion _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

I would be happy to lead the artillery build, if chosen, ratch, and would also willingly assist Owen if he hasn't the time to lead the multipose build.
I was just about to put something up on the Military Vehicle Group build section relating to this so I will now hold off on the artillery bit over there for the time being
Cheers

I'll confirm mine - might need a second though, as work has the habit of snatching me away from my PC and dumping me in random fields across Essex (and even France)

OK folks, its get your thinking caps on time again
Let's see what wonderful ideas you can come up with for a Spring 08 GB
All I'd ask is that proposals be not too specific, so that as many people as possible may participate
So post your ideas in here, and we'll see which way the flag flutters _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

Right then Ratch, how about a quick shale 'n' bake assembley line build, one section of soldiers. HOw about a section of six Desert Rats or a platoon of Yanks. I wouldn't mind being GB Leader for that.

I think a diorama kit GB e.g the Airfix Forward Command Post as on the box art or a Jungle Outpost - any thoughts? _________________ I'd rather push a Dodge than drive a Champ

That would be interesting Luke, I would be up for making a diorama based around one of those kits, shame the desert outpost is no longer available.

Two good ideas Luke
I have a Forward Command Post in the stash, and a built Jungle Outpost that I'd like to put in a dio at some time (being already built would disqualify it from a GB though )
And I wouldn't be averse to getting some 1/32 troops to paint
Keep the ideas coming, we'll have a poll in the new year to gauge popularity _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

ok i have not done a GB before but figured all ideas help
what about pearl harbour or D-day based? This would mean that
1)ship builders can take part
2)plane builders can take part
3)figure people can take part
4)there would be a largeish rage of models to chose from (planes ships men etc) |

Thanks for the idea Alex
As this is the Diorama & Figures section, any ship, vehicle or aircraft would have to be set in a diorama Also, all GB kits must be Airfix, so not too many (any?) ships would qualify _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here
