Last DVD I bought and watched: The Chronicles of Narnia.....Bought as a gift for a friend's child, I sat watched and thoroughly enjoyed it, to my utter amazement!

Favourite Comedies: Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Rise & Fall of Reggie Perrin, Dad's Army, Not The 9 O'clock News, The Young Ones, Blackadder, Little Britain & The Mighty Boosh among many others.

Favourite Music: Widly ecclectic tastes, everything from Mantovani to Motorhead - Trance seems to be doing it for me at the moment - Hallucinogen, Astral Projection, Prana, Cosmosis.....That sort of thing!

Other Interests: Wargaming, role-playing games, reading (anything) also moderately interested in politics, history, science-fiction, archeaology, anthropology and neuropharmacology.

Modelling Interests: 1/72 Scale Fanatic! Mostly armour but I also have a few aircraft and intend to branch into boats soon.

Last Build: Yet another Revell Pz.IV Ausf J (Two to go and second platoon is complete - Hoorah!), Nearly finished two truly horrible Heller Somua S-35s and the excellent Emhar Whippet. Last non armour build was a PM Model Fokker D.XXI which was and is a nightmare build!

David Jones
Born in Newhaven Sussex 16/04/44 at 2100 Double summer time.
Came to Australia with parents in 1948.
Retired Hurt ten years ago. Broken back. Nerves damaged but I can still walk.
Served in the RAN.
Married to Margaret for last 15 years. Married on the 50th anniversary of Pearl Harbor (sic).
Between us we have seven children, all grown up but at times you would never notice. Ten Grandchildren!
I live on a small acreage in the village of Hazelbrook in the Blue Mountains. moving soon (before Christmas) further west to Grenfell onto a beautiful five acre block.
I model just about anything that takes my interest. This includes my Garden Railway
Last picture seen in a theatre. Ice Age 2
Last DVD purchased Narnia.
I don't watch TV all that much. Prefer to read. We have a library that would be the envy of some small towns.
I like many types of music but mainly of the quieter variety.
That will do for now.
